Good news! Today after doing the fishing daily I found a Strand Crawler in my bag. I've decided to keep him and add him to my growing collection of pets. He's very tiny or at least seems rather small to me but he's friendly enough.I was pretty excited when I got my Unusual Compass a couple days ago. I was super excited when I found a pet!
I didn't even know a pet was available from the fishing daily. I'll have to look into other items available from those quests. Perhaps there are other fun goodies I didn't know about.

I wasn't aware you could get a pet either - I'll definitely make more of an effort to get more fishing dailies done - if I get him, it's just one step closer to my stinker :>
